There is a saying at Alpha House, "Are you making Satan nervous?"  A profound question, that begs self examination at the most honest level.  The girls at Alpha House are learning to engage in spiritual warfare not just for their own success but for God’s glory.  

Do we really believe Ephesians 6:12, "For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood, but against despotisms, against powers, against the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickendess in the heaqvenly places"?  If we did, we would understand that getting angry at each other plays right into the hand of the enemy.  Loving others is a powerful weapon against Satan.  Learning to focus anger at Satan, who lies and manipulates for the purpose of destroying God’s people, instead of others is crucial.  Christians have been given power and authority to put Satan in his place.  We need to walk in that authority.

If we believe that we are fighting a ruler of a spiritual realm, then we must arm ourself with the Word of God, purpose to be a doer of that Word and courageously enter the battle.  The war is already won, but there are souls yet to be won to Jesus.  

Make Satan nervous - obey the Word.   Choose to love.
